Design Roots
I have strong roots in traditional art direction—branding and identity, copy writing and editing, typesetting, infographic illustration and data visualization, and layout and production design—and have spent recent years developing my website design and strategy abilities.
Working for almost 20 years as a design professional as a person with disabilities inevitably led me down the path of accessible design…
(Yes, this site could be more accessible, but I’m no longer able to spend time sitting at a computer.)
Life’s Work
Since my transition to being fully disabled, I am happy to share that I’m now focusing on my life’s work: advocacy for accessible and inclusive design practices to improve equity for traditionally marginalized individuals and groups. (More to come on this in future.)
